The 2015 Psychology Poster Conference took place on March 23rd in Castle House. This is an important day in the DBS Psychology calendar, as each of the final year BA (Hons) in Psychology and Higher Diploma in Psychology students produces an A1 size poster summarising the research work they have done for their thesis.
They display the posters in sessions across the day and answer questions on their research. It is a great opportunity for those interested in psychology to find out a lot more about the kind of research psychologists do, and a great opportunity for 1st and 2nd year students to develop ideas about their own thesis projects and the areas of psychology they might want to enter in the future.
The event recreates closely what happens at psychology conferences, and generates a great atmosphere for a spirited discussion of new theories and interesting areas of psychology.
