Springboard+ 2022/23 Initiative

DBS is delighted to announce that in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) as part of the Springboard+ 2022/23 initiative, we are offering a number of Government funded Springboard+ programmes. All programmes are fully accredited by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and span Levels 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). These courses are either 100% or 90% funded* for eligible participants.


These programmes are in the area of new and emerging technologies including Digital Marketing, Big Data and Fund Accounting. Some courses are 100% funded for all and include a Level 6 Certificate in Business and Digital Skills and Level 6 Certificate in Social Care Studies. Under the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) Pillar 1, DBS is also offering incentivised places for recent graduates to upskill in areas of skills shortage and emerging technologies including  Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Analytics, Higher Diploma in Science in Aviation Finance and Higher Diploma in Science in Digital Marketing via graduate conversion courses. HCI courses are offered on a full-time basis only.


The ICT programmes listed below are open to applicants; Employed, Returners and those Signing for Contribution Credits* and are offered on a part-time basis. These programmes are in the area of Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Software Development, and Web & Cloud Technologies


Eligibility and academic entry requirements are listed on www.dbs.ie/springboard. Applications are currently being accepted. Due to the limited number of places available, early application is recommended. All level six courses are free to all. Springboard+ Courses are free* for people receiving the various accepted Social Welfare payments or who are homemakers. For applicants in employment or recent graduates there will be a fee of 10% of the contribution to the normal course fee.
